Gagosian Davies Street
London, United Kingdom 2006
Client: Gagosian
The Gagosian Gallery in Davies Street opened in 2006 and is located on the ground floor of a contemporary mixed-use building in London’s Mayfair. The gallery space is small but very prominently located, with a wide gallery space facing the street, and a small viewing room and office behind. The gallery’s interior, with its white terrazzo floor and fully glazed shop front, is flooded with light and is unusually open to the surrounding city. Many past exhibitions have responded to this openness and have been installed to address the spaces of the pavement and of the street.
