Casabella issue 932 focuses on timber, presenting an anthology of wooden constructions, including Caruso St John's newly completed renovation of a warehouse in Wiedikon, Zurich.
Caruso St John and Thomas Demand's Nagelhaus features in Betts Project's group exhibition Namely, words - Part 2. The show invited artists and architects to present a drawn or sculpted work alongside a piece of writing they admire. Prints of Nagelhaus feature in conversation with the lyrics of Talking Heads' Heaven.

Adam Caruso will give a lecture entitled History and its Opposite for the Tools Conference at the L’École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture et de Paysage de Lille.
Gagosian Davies Street opens its exhibition Francis Bacon: The First Pope on Tuesday 15th March, displaying Bacon's first painting which engages with the papal subject. Caruso St John designed the space for the work, which has never been exhibited publicly before.
Models created for the 2018 Alternative Histories exhibition donated to the Architecture Foundation, were auctioned at the end of March. The twenty-six architectural models, including Caruso St John and Siw Thomas' ceramic model based on Hans Poelzig's sketch for the Stadthaus, Dresden, raised over £6,000 for their New Architecture Writers programme.
A ground breaking ceremony was held on 3rd March to celebrate the start of construction on the St Pancras Commercial Centre. Located in an area of North London which is undergoing substantial change, Caruso St John's 24,000 m² mixed-use scheme will accommodate a dense development of housing, workspace and retail.
Adam Caruso is taking part in the Institut für Entwurf und Architektur One Building lecture series at ETH Zurich. His lecture, You cannot take risks without failing, will take place at the ONA building Fokushalle on 15th March, 18.00 hrs.

Gagosian Burlington Arcade
Gagosian's London shop opens 16th May. Designed by Caruso St John, the space in Mayfair's Burlington Arcade offers Gagosian publications, rare books, limited edition prints, exhibition posters and artist-designed objects. An exhibition space on the first floor will present a rotation of small exhibitions, artist takeovers and special collaborations.

Hockney's Eye: The Art and Technology of Depiction

The Heong Gallery at Downing College opens its new exhibition, Hockney's Eye: The Art and Technology of Depiction on the 15th of March 2022. The gallery designed by Caruso St John will host the contemporary artist's pioneering experiments in bringing the hand, eye, and optical instrument together inventively.

Peter St John is taking part in TU Eindhoven's lecture series, Lessons in Sustainable Architecture. His talk, Reuse, Recycle will discuss the practice's renovation projects with a focus on their sustainability and design process.
The landscape and interiors of Caruso St John's Veemgebouw Strijp S are now taking shape. The top floor of new construction contains 40 apartments, arranged around a landscaped courtyard, with external facades of curving brickwork that form a new dramatic top to the building.
Students in studio Adam Caruso at ETH Zurich will spend their Spring semester exploring the protestant churches of Zurich; spiritual, social and spatial public resources that are underused in the city.
Peter St John presents a lecture on the work of James Stirling, as part of Second Floor, a new series in partnership with Metropolitan Architecture Student Society (MASS) at London Met. The series includes lectures by each of the school's unit tutors, in which they present the work of an architect that has influenced their practice.
Caruso St John's work on a 1940’s industrial building has created new working and living spaces for a young family. The project lightly repairs the existing almost cubic building. The new construction is a new roof built almost to the limits of what is permitted by the planning regulations, a steep volume that rises up from the eaves along the street to make a new broad façade facing south towards the rear yard.
Caruso St John's design for Laboratorium opens this week, a functional training space aimed at Calisthenics workouts using minimal equipment.
David K. Ross' Mock Up exhibition, featuring Caruso St John's Swiss Life Arena, has moved to the Yellow House in Flims. The exhibition shown previously at S AM presents his Archetypes photographic series, which examines the role of mock ups in the design process.

Intern Rachel Caul has received a RIBA Bronze Medal Commendation for her final year project, Reclaiming the Ruin. Rachel studied in Studio 2, led by Caruso St John Director, Rod Heyes.
The RIBA President's Medals are international awards presented annually by the Royal Institute of British Architects to architecture students or recent graduates and are regarded as the most prestigious prizes in architectural education.

L'Architettura di Milano
Adam Caruso contributes a text on the Condominio XXI Aprile by Asnago Vender to L'Architettura di Milano. Published in November, the book describes and interprets 150 of Milan's significant post-war buildings.
Construction has completed on Caruso St John's Paulaner housing in Munich. The 36,000m² new building on Welfenstrasse provides three hundred apartments for both private sale and social tenants, along with a crèche, kindergarten and retail units on the ground floor.
Enabling works are underway at the Royale Belge in Brussels. The 1970's office building is being renovated by Caruso St John in collaboration with Bovenbouw Architectuur and DDS+.
